The bottle is arguably the most beautiful in gin, but the liquid at 45% — while very good — does not quite live up to the presentation. The sugar kelp influence is subtler than expected. A lovely gin but perhaps slightly over-hyped.

The sugar kelp harvested from Harris's shores gives this gin at 45% a distinctive maritime quality unlike anything else. Slightly saline, herbaceous, and wonderfully complex. A gin that tastes of the Outer Hebrides.
