Tasting Notes

Nose

Subtle spice — warm cinnamon and earthy ginger rounded with fresh juniper, delicate and inviting rather than aggressive

Palate

Balanced juniper-forward dryness — herbal curry leaf notes and peppery Sri Lankan spice warmth, zesty citrus with piney juniper and liquorice, the curry leaf present but restrained

Finish

Smooth long rounded close — well-balanced juniper and citrus culminating harmoniously, the exotic origins showing as subtle warmth rather than overt spice

Expert Review

7/10

A 70-year-old recipe from Colombo's Cinnamon Gardens — Sri Lankan cinnamon, curry leaf and ginger in a classically restrained London Dry. Exotic ingredients, classical style. The curry leaf is detectable but never dominant. A true London Dry from the tropics.
