The ultimate juniper gin

Herno Juniper Cask is the purest expression of juniper I have ever experienced in a gin. At 47% the cask influence doubles down on what makes gin special. This is what every juniper lover has been waiting for. Absolute perfection.

Swedish juniper masterpiece

The juniper cask ageing is a stroke of genius. It amplifies the juniper character without adding the vanilla and oak notes of standard barrel ageing. At 47% this London Dry is extraordinarily focused and pure.

Brilliant concept from Sweden

Herno consistently produces some of the best Scandinavian gins. This juniper cask expression at 47% is bold and distinctive. The cask-derived juniper adds a wonderful woody depth to the spirit.

Juniper squared

Herno ages their gin in juniper wood casks — so you get juniper from the botanicals AND the barrel. At 47% this is intensely piney and aromatic. If you love juniper, this is your ultimate gin.

Pine forest in a glass

If you close your eyes while sipping this you could be standing in a Swedish pine forest. The juniper cask ageing at 47% creates an intensely aromatic gin that is unlike anything else.

Too much juniper perhaps

I appreciate the concept but the double juniper hit from both botanicals and cask at 47% might be overkill for some palates. It is extremely piney and resinous. Fascinating but I prefer a more balanced profile.

Innovative cask finishing

Using juniper casks instead of oak is such a clever idea. It gives this 47% London Dry an extra layer of resinous, piney complexity. Herno continues to push boundaries from Sweden.
