Barrel-Aged Excellence

The juniper cask ageing creates a gin of extraordinary character. Cedar-like wood notes, intensified resinous juniper, lingonberry sweetness, and that satisfying tannic dryness on the finish. At 47% it's wonderfully rich.

Juniper Squared

Ageing in juniper wood casks gives this gin extraordinary juniper depth — resinous, cedar-like, and intensely aromatic. The lingonberry fruitiness adds a gorgeous sweetness. At 47% ABV with rich viscous mouthfeel, it's utterly compelling.

Woodsy and Complex

The juniper cask influence is profound — you get the botanical juniper plus woody, resinous notes from the cask. Black pepper adds heat, lingonberry brings sweetness, and at 47% the viscous mouthfeel is superb.

Nordic Innovation

Only the Swedes would think to age gin in juniper wood casks. The result is extraordinary — wine-like tannin structure, profound juniper depth, and lingonberry sweetness. The long, warming finish at 47% is magnificent.

A Gin Lover's Gin

If you love juniper, this is the ultimate expression. The juniper cask amplifies everything, the black pepper adds bite, and the lemon peel provides essential brightness. Rich and viscous at 47%. Remarkable.

The World's Best Barrel-Aged Gin

Hernö Juniper Cask is a revelation. The juniper wood imparts cedar, resin, and depth that transforms the gin entirely. Lingonberry adds sweetness, black pepper adds fire, and at 47% the viscous mouthfeel is extraordinary. This is barrel-aged gin perfected.

Too Much Juniper?

I know that sounds absurd for a gin, but the juniper cask doubles down on the juniper botanical and at 47% it becomes almost overwhelming. The lingonberry and lemon peel struggle to be heard. Fascinating but intense.
