The original cucumber gin

Hendrick's set the template for contemporary gin at 44% ABV. The cucumber skin freshness, rose water delicacy, and soft juniper create a profile that's instantly recognisable. With coriander and cubeb berries adding spice, it's endlessly appealing.

Smooth and distinctive

There's nothing quite like the Hendrick's experience at 44%. Fresh cucumber, delicate rose water, and meadowsweet on the nose, followed by that silky palate of juniper and coriander. The clean, refreshing finish with rose petal is gorgeous.

Iconic but cucumber divides

Hendrick's at 44% is beautifully made — the cucumber and rose water nose is unmistakeable, with juniper, coriander, angelica, orris root, and cubeb berries all playing their part. But the cucumber coolness and floral character can feel too soft for those who prefer juniper-led gins.

A modern classic

Hendrick's at 44% is the contemporary gin that started a revolution. The silky mouthfeel, cucumber coolness, and rose petal florals are beautifully supported by juniper, coriander, and angelica. The orris root and cubeb berries add depth. Simply outstanding from William Grant & Sons.

Crowd favourite for good reason

Hendrick's at 44% converts more non-gin drinkers than any other bottle. The cucumber and rose water smoothness, supported by gentle juniper and elderflower notes on the palate, make it universally appealing. The silky mouthfeel is remarkable.

Still the benchmark

Years after its launch, Hendrick's at 44% ABV remains the benchmark for contemporary gin. The cucumber and rose are iconic, but it's the supporting cast — juniper, coriander, angelica, orris root, cubeb berries — that gives it real depth. The medium-length finish is clean and refreshing.

The gin that changed everything

Hendrick's at 44% is a masterpiece from William Grant & Sons. The cucumber, rose water, juniper, coriander, angelica, orris root, and cubeb berries create a contemporary gin of staggering beauty. That silky mouthfeel, the meadowsweet and chamomile on the nose, the clean finish — every element is perfect.
