First Impressions
Ginato Clementino showcases Tuscan juniper, Nebbiolo grapes and Italian clementines from the Emilia-Romagna distillery. The clementine brings multilayered citrus character while the Nebbiolo adds tannic red grape depth and a hint of rose.
Tasting
The nose is a rich orange medley — satsuma, mandarin and clementine with juniper. On the palate, multilayered clementine with Nebbiolo tannin, rose and sweet citrus. The finish is lingering citrus with clean close.
The Bottom Line
Ginato Clementino earns a 7 for Italian grape gin with clementine warmth. The Nebbiolo adds tannic structure that complements the citrus beautifully. A fabulous Negroni addition — the clementine notes playing brilliantly against Campari.
