At 57.2% this hits with real force but Edinburgh have managed to keep it incredibly smooth. Bold juniper and spice, with a warmth that builds beautifully. A proper Navy Strength gin.

There's no denying the quality here, but at 57.2% it's all about power and less about finesse. I prefer Navy Strength gins that show more botanical nuance alongside the strength. Good, not great.

Cannonball lives up to its name. Massive juniper presence with peppery spice at 57.2%. It's intense but never rough. Edinburgh's best expression in my opinion.

Edinburgh Cannonball is the benchmark for Navy Strength gin in my book. At 57.2% it's extraordinarily powerful yet astonishingly smooth. The depth of flavour is staggering. Worth every penny.
