Beautifully preserved

For a gin bottled in 1959, this has aged remarkably well. At 40% the spirit is gentle but characterful, with mellowed juniper and soft botanical notes. A London Dry from gin's golden age, still drinking beautifully.

A time capsule spirit

Opening a 1959 Booth's is like opening a time capsule. The London Dry profile at 40% has softened over the decades but retains genuine character. A fascinating glimpse into how gin used to be made.

1959 in a glass

Tasting Booth's from 1959 is a privilege. At 40% the spirit has mellowed beautifully — the juniper is soft and integrated, the botanicals have melded into a harmonious whole. A gentle, elegant London Dry from another era.

Vintage London character

Booth's was once one of London's great gin houses and this 1959 bottling at 40% shows why. Even aged, there's a quality and balance here that speaks to proper gin-making. The London Dry style in its purest form.

An extraordinary relic

Booth's Finest from 1959 at 40% is an extraordinary experience. Seven decades of bottle ageing have transformed this London Dry into something ethereal — the botanicals have softened into a seamless, silky spirit of rare elegance. To taste gin from 1959 is a privilege few will ever know. Absolutely magnificent.

Gentle vintage elegance

The decades have been kind to this Booth's. At 40% the London Dry character is gentle and refined — the juniper has mellowed into something almost floral. A beautiful vintage gin experience.

History faded somewhat

A 1959 Booth's at 40% is a lovely piece of gin history, but seven decades of bottle ageing have mellowed the botanicals considerably. The juniper is a whisper now, and the overall profile is gentle to the point of subtlety. More of a collectible than a drinking experience.
