Pretty but gimmicky

The golden colour from turmeric is attractive and at 43% it is a perfectly drinkable London Dry. But the Sunset concept feels more like marketing than genuine innovation. Tastes like Sapphire with a mild spice kick.

Warm sunset vibes

Bombay Sapphire Sunset adds warm spice and golden turmeric to the classic Sapphire base. At 43% this London Dry has a lovely warmth — like watching the sun go down with a gin in hand.

Stunning sunset spirit

Bombay Sapphire Sunset at 43% is a triumph. The marriage of classic London Dry botanicals with warm turmeric and cardamom spice is inspired. Beautiful golden colour, incredible flavour. This should be a permanent release.

Warm spice meets citrus

The addition of warm spices to the classic Sapphire botanical blend at 43% creates a more complex London Dry. The turmeric adds earthiness while cardamom brings aromatic warmth. A solid limited edition.

Sapphire goes golden

The Sunset edition at 43% swaps the cool blue for warm golden tones. White cardamom and turmeric add spice and colour. A creative twist on the Bombay Sapphire formula that actually works.

Golden hour in a glass

Bombay Sapphire Sunset at 43% is a stunning London Dry with warm spice notes that evoke a beautiful sunset. The turmeric and cardamom additions are inspired. Makes the most gorgeous golden G&T.

Best Bombay Sapphire variant

Of all the Bombay Sapphire extensions, Sunset at 43% is my favourite. The warm spice profile from turmeric and cardamom elevates the base gin beautifully. A London Dry with genuine warmth and character.
